Mean Girls fandom has been around for decades, but it has reached renewed fervor with this month’s release of a film adaption of the musical (itself an adaption of the original 2004 movie).
Renewed Mean Girls excitement means multiple generations are now going to be planning nights out and viewing parties to enjoy this beloved teen comedy, and that is an occasion that warrants beautiful hot pink cocktails.
The color pink has been having a moment of late as well, with Barbie-core fandom and upcoming Valentine’s Day festivities, so why not kick it up a notch with a more vibrant shade of fun?
Lucky You
At Hash Kitchen in Scottsdale, they have taken breakfast cocktails to the next level with the ‘Lucky You’ made with vanilla vodka, white cran-strawberry juice, coconut milk and dehydrated strawberries. This pink cocktail is garnished with tiny marshmallows, an ode to the days of eating cereal for breakfast. “I think my dad, the inventor of tiny marshmallows, would be super pleased with this pink strawberry and fluffy marshmallow cocktail. All jokes aside, this fun, pink cocktail is bright, balanced and refreshing,” said Lyndsi Hastings-Mundy, Hash Kitchen Beverage Director.
